NINA R. GOUGIS practices in all areas of school and municipal law. Ms Gougis received her law degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009. She first joined the firm as a summer associate in 2008. During law school, Ms. Gougis served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Philip P. Simon, U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Indiana. Prior to law school, she worked as a reporter for Star Newspapers, Glen Ellyn Sun and Naperville Sun. Ms. Gougis graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University, where she served as managing editor of the university's student newspaper.
