ANTHONY J. LOIZZI practices in all areas of school and park district law, with a primary concentration on labor, personnel and corporate matters.  He has extensive experience in representing public schools and park districts in both federal and state court as well as before administrative agencies, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board.  He is a member of the National and Illinois Council of School Attorneys, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  He is a frequent speaker on a variety of school law topics including the Freedom of Information Act and Open Meetings Act.  Mr. Loizzi has co-authored several publications, including E-Discovery Rules: The Brave New World of Ethical Obligations and "Yes We Can…Sometimes":  Regulating Employee Campaign Activity, bothpublications of the National School Boards Association's Council of School Attorneys.  Prior to law school, he worked in the private sector for six years as a human resources associate for an information technology consulting firm.  Mr. Loizzi received his bachelor's degree in political science and public administration from Augustana College and received his law degree in 2006 from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he completed an externship with the Illinois appellate court and worked in the employment and labor law clinic.
