LORI G. MARTIN  represents school districts, park districts and municipalities with a focus on student issues, litigation and personnel matters.  She is a member of the National and Illinois Council of School Attorneys.  Ms. Martinreceived her bachelor's degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology with high honors and received her law degree with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2006.  During law school, she served externships at the Illinois appellate court and at the Chicago Board of Education and she also worked at the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian and the Chicago Legal Clinic.  Ms. Martin is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois, and the Central District of Illinois.  Prior to law school she worked in the private industry as a recruiter of quantitative marketing professionals.  In her spare time Ms. Martin enjoys reading, practicing yoga and spending time with her family.
