We are pleased to announce that our partner Nancy Krent has been named the recipient of the National School Boards Association, Council of School Attorneys award for Distinguished Service "in recognition of her exemplary leadership and service in support of the mission of the Council of School Attorneys." Nancy is a past National Chairman of the Council of School Attorneys. In addition, we are proud to announce that Nancy Krent has been named a 2008 Illinois Super Lawyer.
Hodges, Loizzi congratulates Heather Brickman on becoming chairman of the Illinois Council of School Attorneys for 2008. She recently moderated the ICSA program on school law at the November joint conference.

We look forward to seeing your special education administrators at the upcoming IAASE Spring Conference in Collinsville where Mike Loizzi and Bennett Rodick are joining the Superintendents of NSSED and NSSEO to present on the new special educator work load plan requirements. Finally, the May/June issue of the Illinois School Board Journal will contain an article co-authored by Shayne Aldridge on the new work load requirements.
