We are pleased to announce that our partner Nancy Krent has been named the recipient of the National School Boards Association, Council of School Attorneys award for Distinguished Service "in recognition of her exemplary leadership and service in support of the mission of the Council of School Attorneys." Nancy is a past National Chairman of the Council of School Attorneys. In addition, we are proud to announce that Nancy Krent has been named a 2009 Illinois Super Lawyer.

Terry Hodges, Mike Loizzi, Stan Eisenhammer and Bennett Rodick have been named in the 2009 issue of Leading Lawyers.
Hodges, Loizzi congratulates our former colleague, Sonja Trainor, on her joining the National School Board Association's Office of General Counsel in Washington D.C. as a Senior Staff Attorney. Sonja practiced with Hodges, Loizzi for several years until relocating to the nation's capital.

The Illinois Council of School attorneys has published an updated Guide to Legislation Affecting Schools. Heather Brickman and Steven Richart worked with the Council in preparation of this important Guide which is available at www.iasb.com/law/isas.cfm.
